FAQ
Are your manuscripts complete?
Yes. My two women’s fiction novels are finished and polished, ready for submission to literary agents and publishers. One involves magical realism, and the other has a brushstroke of romance.
What genres do you write in?
While my completed novels are upmarket women’s fiction, much of my writing explores fantasy and magical realism, creating immersive worlds that take the reader into alternate realities, while staying rooted in human emotion.
Are your books part of a series?
Not at this time. Both of my completed manuscripts have the capacity to expand with interconnected stories. For now, I’m focused on completing my novels in progress:
a mystery featuring septuagenarian sleuths
a young adult sci-fi cautionary tale about artificial intelligence
a middle grade fantasy that’s an allegory of acceptance, and
a journey into a dystopian world created under the sea.
What stage are you at in the publishing process?
I have two short stories and some poetry published, and I’m currently querying literary agents and building my author platform to connect with publishers and readers for my novels.
Can I read a sample of your work?
Yes. My fantasy short, The Samurai’s Quest is available as of October, 2025 online in The Literary Fantasy Magazine.
Do you have literary representation?
Not yet. I’m actively seeking a literary agent for upmarket women’s fiction who shares my concern about the place of women in society and who will embrace a vision for empowering women to live their best lives.
What inspires your writing?
My stories are inspired by dreams, history, philosophy, and world politics, reframed through the lens of fantasy, magical realism, and romance.
