ABOUT

Sometimes, laughter is the only remedy for family drama. When old skeletons emerge from their shallow graves at a destination wedding on Lake Michigan, the sisters use humor to gain perspective.

Told from the alternating view points of two of the sisters fighting for their place in a family dominated by their narcissistic mother.

Can a shaman in emerald-green cowboy boots save Janie’s wedding day?

Thirty-year old Gabi French is Janie’s maid of honor. She’s a street artist sliding by on her reputation and longing to inject some color back into her life. She’ll have to heal the emotional fallout of an abusive relationship, overcome caustic critics, and defeat the distractions of ADHD—while managing Jack, the groom’s charming older brother.

Beautiful, selfish Remi is five years younger than Gabi. She hopes being Janie’s wedding planner brings her the family respect she craves, but a plan to reset her image is on the brink of destruction. And Remi can’t help competing with Gabi. Especially over Jack, who she saw first.

This wedding weekend could be the perfect moment for each sister to heal old hurts and step into her potential, but when empowering themselves threatens Janie’s wedding day, they must let this colorful shaman show them the transformational power of love.
